What We Do
To fulfill its mission, MWC provides emergency shelter and transportation, a 24-hour crisis line, specialized services and support for older abused women, children’s programming, batterers treatment, case management to meet housing and other basic needs, and counseling to address domestic violence and substance abuse issues. The Milwaukee Women’s Center maintains office hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday at 728 N. James Lovell St. (7th St.), Milwaukee, WI 53233. The agency’s Emergency Shelter operates 24-hours/day, 7 days/week, 365 days/year at its confidential location in Milwaukee.
